Touching the Lives of Americans ™
About Us

Here you will get to know each of us a little better, you will then understand why we make such a great TEAM!!!

Craig Nadel, COO/Co-Founder of Rescue Me Corporation ™ {Incorporated} and Touching the and Touching the Lives of Americans™ has always had animals in his life.
Growing up in Southern California on a ranch in Agoura Hills, he was raised with horses, dogs, chickens, roosters, cats, rabbits and even gold fish.
Craigs dad, Stan served in the Navy as did his brother Adam in Desert Storm.
Craig is a fourth generation barber and has been working in the family barber shop for close to 40 years and taking over full time after his dad retired and moved away.
Sadly, after COVID we lost our lease on the property we leased for 64 years and we were forced to close the family business, but Craig is still cutting hair and rents a chair now and is spending more time working with Joy on both Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated} and Touching the Lives of Americans™.
When not cutting hair he is rescuing animals in need with his wife Joy.
Shortly after he and Joy got married they started their family of rescued ani-pals!!
Craig and Joy met when they were both teenagers and their friendship grew into best friends and eventually husband and wife.
Now married 34 years in 2024, together 44 years {as of 2024} Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated } and Touching the Lives of Americans™ is the result of the passion for animals and our USA American heroes they share together.

Joy Nadel, CEO/Co-Founder of Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated }. Touching the Lives of Americans™.
Joy's father was in the Army, her uncle served in Vietnam.
Growing up as a latch key kid as her mom had to go to work after her father walked out on the family at nine years old and her only real friend was her dog, Seymour a beautiful Samoyed.
Animals were always a part of her life and growing up they were her best friends.
Shortly after she and Craig were married she went to work for a Veterinarian and saw the NEED for responsible, respectable rescue organizations.
Joy and Craig would volunteer at rescue events and then caught the 'bug' shortly there after Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated } was born.
When 911 hit, they recognized the need for help for Veterans coming home as unlike in Viet Nam heroes that came home with P.T.S.D. are now being recognized and the need was real for them to get help. This is when Touching the Live of Americans™ was born.
During Joy's time working for the Veterinarian she saw the need for special needs and senior animals to be rescued as they are so often over looked at the pound/s by not only the public but other rescue organizations as well, thus Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated } was born.
To date Rescue Me Corporation™ {Incorporated }. has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 250,000 animals of all species.

Joy and Craig both we raised in Military families. {Gold Star Families}
Craig's family was all Navy and Joy's family were all Army.
On the morning of 911, the world changed for everyone.
At that time Craig's brother Adam was in the Navy and when the second plane hit the tower we just knew Adam would be deployed.
Joy and Craig moved their wedding date up as so Adam could be there as he was after all the 'best man'.
Shortly there after Adam was deployed and went to the Persian Gulf where he was on the USS Enterprise and was on the flight deck shooting off planes.
Watching the war unfold on television was hard knowing we had a family member there and every one of those men, women and K~9's were family at that time.
We knew we had to do something to be a part of the solution to help as many Veterans and families as we could. We started to volunteer, made care packages, sent things over seas to soldiers and more.
Joy knew with her experience with P.T.S.D. and mental illness as her uncle served in Vietnam and saw his struggles upon returning home that she needed to do all she could to make a difference.
The result was the birth of Touching the Lives of Americans™
