Tiny
in loving memory

When I was at the pound one day with the goal to save a Shih Tzu that had been hit by a car I went off to the vets office and Craig walked the kennels and was looking at dogs. He called me and said, "Hey, Joy there is a panda in this kennel. I thought he was nuts but went over there and there was Tiny, squished in the fetal position and my eyes met up with him and it was an immediate connection. LOVE at first sight!!!!

Tiny was a rescue from a local KILL pound. He was on the KILL LIST the day we RESCUED him. He was literally being attached to a catch pole and being dragged as he was unable to walk and he was off to the kill room when I saw him and stopped the officer to enquire about him.

Well, they told me he had all these issues and he was only 8 months old at the time.

I {Joy} looked at Craig and said we are taking him home. Craig said, " Are you sure and I said go open the back of the JEEP as he is coming home with us.

He has a high drive to please and he LOVES people.

When we RESCUED Tiny, he was unable to walk very well and he dragged his back legs. He had a cherry eye which he had surgically repaired and neutered at the same time.

It took approximately six months for Tiny to be able to regain the use of his

legs and act like a real dog.  Tiny was just PERFECT in EVERY way!!!!

After his recovery he began his basic training and we continued working with

him on his extensive training up until the time he passed away.

He was a very special boy, and became Joy's PTSD service dog.

Belle was a little orphan found roaming the streets.

Her rescuers searched for her humans and no one seemed to know where she belonged.

After searching they decided to find her a home as no one was stepping up to claim her.

Well, after over a year Belle's prayers were answered and she found her forever home.

Karen, was in the Army and discharged due to health issues. Se suffers from seizures and she needed a dog to help alert her to oncoming seizures.

We introduced her to Belle and it was love at first sight. She immediately adopted her and o her first night Karen suffered a seizure and with no formal training Belle jumped on her ahead of the seizure and from that day o she had alerted to on coming seizures.

She is also Karen's P.T.S.D. service dog and goes with her to work every day.
